If you aren't on The Glitch Mob train yet, I suggest you hop on soon, because you're missing quite the ride. This electro-group makes some of the most interesting and unexpected music out there. They fuse hip hop, rock and their own specific brand of electronic music into incredibly satisfying mixes. The progression is seamless and creates undulating, impulsive tracks that take on a life of their own. The Glitch Mob brands their music with a very recognizable style, beat heavy and synthed, that easily catches and holds your attention; I promise that even an hour long track won't seem long enough.
That being said, here is More Voltage, the mixtape that The Glitch Mob dropped this week. It begins with one of my favorites; The Glitch Mob's remix of Daft Punk's Derezzed, written for the original score of Tron: Legacy. From there it assumes its own structure and gives us an hour of incredible listening experience.
