Have you had your daily dose of Mac Miller yet?
Dropped yesterday, the title track to the highly anticipated album, Blue Slide Park, brings Miller back into view with slightly more aggressive work than we're used to. There's no question that he delivers on his usual lyricism and clutch punchlines, which are highlighted by an unobtrusive (but appropriate) beat. Miller is definitely taking himself a little more seriously, effectively developing his once more playful style into a new, but not unpleasant, brand of hip hop. No worries, the Mac Miller we know and love is still around, he's just growing up.
