Voices from my own school, here's a new one from Kap Slap. Specifically designed "mashups for raging" definitely achieve their purpose; Kap Slap makes the most popular music of the moment party ready for your listening, and raging, enjoyment. Add Chris Brown's Temper to your playlist for Friday night (...or Thursday, or Wednesday) and rage on.
Although, these two mash up artists are separate and independent, I had to do a joint post about them for two reasons:
1) They both proudly represent Lehigh University 2) They just did a great mash up collabo. (I'll include it down below)
5 & A Dime, A.K.A. Gregory Kantor is a sophomore at Lehigh University. According to his facebook page, he's been DJing since 2004. His mashups generally incorporate your mainstream samples from several different eras of radio's history.
He's got the same flow and style that Girl Talk boasts, but somehow it seems much more raw. He uses music from more songs than Brenton Duvall usually does but less than Girl Talk giving a good balance for a mashup.
KapSlap/Jared Lucas is a senior at Lehigh University. His recent mashup Flux Monsters was a huge hit on the music blogosphere, getting mentions from HypeFloats, Fresh New Tracks, Fresh on Campus and the like. I can't say I'm not a fan. Admittedly, I've just recently become interested in mash-ups and am still working my way around electro and techno, Kap Slap has the ability to make any type of music (whether you like it or not) soft on the ears and worth jamming to.

When listening to their music I think of:Girl Talk, Super Mash Bros, Germany, My Sick Uncle Their music is best listened to when: when it's time to get pumped for a party, at a party, after party, chilling/relaxing I would recommend this music to: any mash up fans, anyone looking for a new sound, anyone looking to try to get into mash ups (these guys could possibly be a great gateway into the world of mash ups)
