New music from previously featured artists on Unheard Undergrad:
Kinetics and One Love, a duo with a big claim to fame (for writing the hook to B.o.B.'s Grammy Award winning song, Airplanes) but still on their grind as musicians in their own right, dropped their most recent mixtape in late August. Along with an epic music video, shot on the Great Wall of China (on one camera, in one take, with no director besides the artists themselves), What Model Are You promises well thought out rhymes from Kinetics with excellent production by One Love. Both ivy league educated, and with backgrounds in classical theory, their music commands respect and attention.
K&1L are currently in the middle of an East Coast Tour; 2011 Fall Campus Crawl, so look for a chance to check them out first hand. In the meantime, here's a recently dropped track sampling from If I Die Young, by The Band Perry:
