Unfortunately, readers of Unheard Undergrad have yet to see a post about this talented artist, Outasight; rapper/singer out from Yonkers, NY. No worries, SNewman and J are here to fill you in.
Many artists excel at either rapping or singing exclusively, but Outasight comes as the whole package. With a gift for mixing genres, he brings elements of rock, soul, hip hop and reggae into an incredibly likable set of songs. The track to his recently dropped video Figure 8 has him rapping his own verses and singing his own (very catchy) hooks over a solid beat. Outasight is not one to pass up, with this style and flow, he won't go unnoticed.
Here's the EP that's been on my 'most played' since I saw him perform with Hoodie Allen at Webster Hall. Outasight can kill it onstage. Make sure to download here and you'll be listening nonstop for the next week.
