One of my favorite groups of the moment, Diafrix, drops the video to the remix of Unorthodox, a punchy, reggae/hip-hop fusion track. This Australian duo, highly influenced by their African roots, lay down a serious message ("They don't know what it's really like where we come from"), over a bass line with an alternative feel and a bumpin' reggae beat. This is music I want to listen to all day, every day. Having joined Bruno Mars' Australian tour over the summer, Diafrix seems to be gaining momentum and sending us music nonstop from down under. I definitely don't hate it.
