In the closely followed lead up to his upcoming debut album, Camp (dropping November 15th via Glassnote), Childish Gambino gives us Heartbeat. The track is aptly named, drawn together by a continuous and driving undertone. This is set up to be embellished upon with a tightly coiled theme which drops early and continues throughout. Childish Gambino is a bit more laid back from his usual frantic intensity but still gives us his unparalleled style and talent, supported by intelligent lyrics. Coming from of the most talked about current hip hop artists, there are definitely high expectations for Camp.
